Skylar's Blessing

We blessed Skylar this weekend and now that it's over I feel like a lot of added stress has been lifted. Aahhh! The weekend was nice. Our yard got finished just in time (thanks to our neighbor James Dotson). Brianna strolled in town by Sat. afternoon and ran last minute errands with me before Sunday. Elicia and Kris and their two kids showed up that night, and my mom, dad and two of my other sisters (Sierra and Shawna) came but got in town just before they had to be to Tuacahn to watch Les Miserables (which I heard is wonderful and we need to go see it)! We had church at 9am on Sunday, and had a great turn out with family and friends (thanks for all the support)! Brad gave an absolutely beautiful and sweet blessing to Skylar. Don't tell any one, but I love when Brad shows his sensitive side. It makes me love him even more. Thanks hun for that wonderful blessing you gave our fourth little girl. We had lots of people at our home for a luncheon. I am so glad that Chantel and Jake were also able to make it down, as well as everyone else who made it that I have not mentioned.

24th of July

So the 24th was pretty low key for us besides the fact that we were trying to finish our back yard landscaping for Skylar's blessing that weekend. We invited Devan and Shanell over for a small BBQ then decided to go swimming at Papa and Grandma's before we went to watch fireworks.

Grandma and Papa were in Chicago having a fun time watching a Cubs baseball game that day so they weren't there. We went and picked Grandma-Great up so she could watch the fireworks with us.
The kids sure did have a lot of fun. Thanks for comin' with us Devan, Shanell and Taylee and Grandma-Great. It would not have been as fun without you guys!

Brinly's swimming lessons

Brinly started swimming lessons for the first time on the 14th thru the 25th. She was so excited to be finally starting them since the summer is almost over. What the heck took me so long? I guess it was the fact that I was pregnant and due in the middle of June and just wasn't up to running Brinly (with all of the girls) to lessons just yet. But needless to say, she finally got to go to swimming lessons atleast once this summer. She did so well that next time she'll be able to advance to the next level. Yah!!

Convention in Vegas

After the 4th, we went to Vegas for the annual Mckesson Convention. The final night event was a dinner and concert with LeAnn Rimes. We're not quite sure how well the girls enjoyed that, but I got to hear a few songs before the girls got too worn out!

4th of July

I know this is totally late, but I thought I should do a month update since I haven't added anything for a month. So here we go at the beginning of July starting with the 4th. We did a few things that day, but I forgot to take pictures until the end when we were watchin fireworks. We went swimming and took the girls to Wall-E. We had lots of fun!

Tag, you're it!

TAGGED!!! This is a fun little tag where you share memories or thoughts about the people you blog with!
Rules of this Tag:
1. Answer the questions about the list of friends and/or family on your blog.
2. If you don’t have 18 names answer the question about the next name that you have not had a question for on your list.
3. Tag other people.

When did you first meet the 1st person on your list?

Belnaps-I met Annette when she came to a garage sale that I had at our house after we moved into our neighborhood. Annette came before they moved into their home. Now they're in our ward.

What do you like about the 3rd person on your list's blog?

Brienne- She is married to Brad's cousin Ryan and they live in Vegas. She is fun to visit with and she has three cute girls right around our girls age. Hannah and Brinly play together well.

What do you like best about the 5th and 6th people on your list?

Chantel-Well what's not to like about Chantel. She is my cute sister in-law. She and her husband Jake are fun to be around.
Christa-She is another one of Brad's cousins and is also fun to be around and visit with. We don't see them much but when we do we have a good time catching up.

How long have you known the 9th person on your list?

Denise-I have known Denise for about 8 years. She is Ryan's mom and Brad's first cousin. She always is full of life, energy and fun.

What impresses you about the 11th and 12th people on your list?

Staci- She is so organized and seems to have things all together. She always has great ideas for decorating, parties, and scrapbooking.
Erica- I went to highschool with Erica. Lately she has an impressive portfolio of Photography sessions she's done. Very nice!

What is a memory you have with the 16th person on your list?!

Julianne- She is our Bishops wife. She is and has always been so sweet to have Brinly over to play. Even a few years ago when I barely knew her so was willing to help occupy Brinly while I was going back and forth to the hospital when we had the girls and they were in the NICU for a month. Thanks again for everything Julianne!

Say something nice about the 18th person on your list.

Shelly-First of all I have nothing bad to say about Shelly. She is always so friendly and is always asking how we are doing. She was sweet to go running with me, even though I was holding her back. She has a cute family and her kids are super sweet.
For all that didn’t get a number, I love you guys and am really glad you are in my life and that I can see your lives threw your blogs! (:dido
